about me

I remember a huge gallery wall at my grandparents' vacation home in Lake Arrowhead, CA. There were 15 foot ceilings and the walls were plastered with photos. There were photos of aunts and uncles getting married, cousins in school uniforms, old black and white photos of ancestors whose names nobody could remember. There were family photos with all of us crammed into one shot, somebody inevitably closing their eyes or a toddler making a run for it. These photos weren't impeccably lit. They weren't posed just so. But they were honest. They were beautiful.

They were us, and that matters.

When I shoot, that's my goal. To capture the perfectly imperfect stories you're living every day. Those in-between moments with your favorite people, the magic of your life, that's important. I’m here for the unscripted magic of your every day, and I can’t wait to capture it all for you.

Guys. I know. My dad owns his own photography business, so I grew up shooting weddings with him!

Guys. I know. We’re old souls. We were the youngest people there by about 35 years, and we loved every minute of it. These days, we grow and sell our own flowers, and have vague dreams about owning our own flower farm some day.

I know. But I’d take the mountains and a good lake over a crowded California beach any day!
